Music at the Hen

Enjoy live music every Friday evening in January. Bring your own food or buy a Purple Hen platter. Seating is limited so bring a chair or a rug if you can. You can also bring your own food to these events but not your own alcohol.

The popular twilight markets return as Island Foreshore Market with over 150 stalls ranged between the new jetty triangle and Erehwon Point. All manner of goods will be sold including local produce, craft, jewellery, variety items, food and more.

Churchill Island Farmers Market

January 5, 12, 18 (Friday) and 26, 2019

The picturesque setting for this farmers market is enticing with lots of stalls with a huge variety of goodies.
Look for local fresh produce including seasonal fruit and vegetables, the potato man with lots of potato varieties, and artisan breads.
Sample and buy olive oils, wine and beer.
Add local honey to your pantry.
For the green fingered there are plants and cut flowers.
Enjoy a relaxing coffee from the market kiosk.

Ocean Sounds Festival

Ocean Sounds is a family-friendly, music-lovers’ all-day concert that will take place at beautiful Churchill Island.

As well as a stellar musical line-up, Ocean Sounds will also showcase local wines and cheeses and gourmet food vans.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their picnic rugs, friends, good vibes and to enjoy a memorable experience of quality music in a relaxed, atmospheric and picturesque environment.

Lots of variety can be found at this market, with local and imported goods for sale.
Second-hand books, soap, new and vintage clothes, collectables and plant stalls to name a few.
Inside the hall are arts and crafts, including jewellery, knits and clothes.
Fresh produce such as fruit and vegetables and free range eggs are available.
The "shed" at the back has a great array of children's books and toys and second-hand kitchenware with lots of retro items.
For the hungry there is hot food for sale.

See all the action and excitement of elite cycling as racing kicks off for the both the Men’s and Women’s events with 22 laps of the world-famous Phillip Island Circuit.

San Remo Channel Challenge

San Remo Foreshore

The event is hosted by the Woolamai Beach SLSC and comprises a 550 metre swim across the channel between San Remo and Phillip Island and a 2km run back over the bridge to finish down the main street of San Remo.

The swim/run is the highlight of a day-long festival. The town of San Remo comes to life with children’s rides, market stands, various food vendors, the notorious “Hole-in-One” golf challenge, a fashion parade by Full Circle Surf, live music and other festivities.

Inside the hall visitors will find arts and crafts with lots of hand knitted goods, jewellery, and cards plus other original handmade items.

The Cowes Classic comprises a 500 metre swim around the Cowes Pier and a 4km run finishing up the main street outside North Pier Hotel. Race start time is 3.00pm.
